The real interface,
not a screenshot pretending to be one

Sync your RuneScape name and this is exactly what you land in — every cape, every achievement, checked off as you go. Nothing to create, nothing to install.

Start tracking
Just your RuneScape display name — that's it.

Sync in seconds

Enter your RuneScape name and RuneMetrics fills in your skill levels, quest progress, and RuneScore automatically.

Every cape, one tracker

Max, Master Max, Completionist, Trimmed, Master Quest Cape, Master Completionist, Master Trimmed, and Quest Cape — switch between them instantly.

Know what to do next

My Journey splits what's left into long-term grinds, medium-term sessions, and quick wins — so you always know what to reach for.

Compare with a friend

Enter two RuneScape names and see who's ahead, cape by cape — a live head-to-head, no account needed on either side.

Share your progress

Get a live link to your cape progress, synced from RuneMetrics — perfect for showing off on Discord or Reddit.

Install it like an app

Add Cape Tracker to your home screen or desktop and open it full-screen, just like a native app — still no download, no account.

New · RS Leagues II

Equilibrium league tracking is on the way

Leagues is RuneScape's limited-time Ironman game mode — you play on dedicated league worlds, complete tasks across every skill to earn league points, and spend those points unlocking relics: powerful bonuses that snowball your progress the further you go. Whatever you earn gets brought back to your main account as rewards once the league ends.

Equilibrium is the next league, and task and relic data for it isn't public yet — but there's already a page for it, and full tracking is coming to Cape Tracker once it is.

Every requirement, tracked

See your whole checklist

All 307 Master Quest Cape achievements, plus Completionist and Trimmed Completionist — searchable, filterable, and sorted however you like.

  • Search and filter by category
  • Sort by quickest, longest, or A-Z
  • Every item links straight to the wiki
  • Checks off and stays checked, saved on your device
My Journey

Know what to work on, at a glance

Long-term grinds, medium-term sessions, and short-term quick wins — sorted so you always know what to reach for next.

  • Long-term grinds tracked separately from quick wins
  • "Along the way" links show when one grind quietly finishes another achievement for you
  • Pin one skill or requirement as your current focus
  • Weekly theme picker suggests one task to knock out
RuneMetrics sync

Sync once, update everywhere

Enter your RuneScape name and your skill levels, quest progress, and RuneScore fill in automatically. Achievements shared between capes check off together.

  • Auto-fills all 29 skills
  • Quest and miniquest progress synced from RuneMetrics
  • Shared achievements checked once, everywhere
  • Works without an account — sync is just a lookup
Your own goals

Add anything the list doesn't cover

Track whatever matters to you, right alongside the built-in checklist — add it, check it off, remove it whenever you want.

  • Add custom items to any cape
  • Check them off same as anything else
  • Remove them whenever you want
Data visualisations

Watch your grind add up

Sync on two different days and your own XP history unlocks — a real chart built from your real sync history, not a sample account.

  • XP gained over time, total or per-skill
  • Daily XP stacked by skill for the last 14 days
  • A trailing leaderboard of what you've trained most
Pace Planner

Set a goal, work backward from it

Say how many hours a week you can put in and find out when you'll finish — or set a deadline and find out what pace it needs.

  • Forecast mode — hours a week in, an ETA out
  • Deadline mode — a date in, the required rate out
  • Uses your own real trailing pace once you have history
Archaeology

Every collection log, one materials list

All 77 Archaeology collections across 7 cultures, with a materials calculator that tracks contention properly — restoring one artefact can eat into what another needs from the same shared pile, and this accounts for that instead of pretending each collection draws from its own pool.

  • Reserve excavated material so it isn't double-counted
  • Plan several collections at once with one cumulative shopping list
  • See what's restorable right now versus what's still short

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is Cape Tracker free to use?

Yes — completely free, no ads, no premium tier. Nothing to pay for or upgrade.

Do I need to create an account or log in?

No account, no login, no email. Your progress is saved locally in your browser. If you want it on a second device, the sync feature hands you a QR code / link to pull it over — still no account involved.

How does RuneMetrics sync work?

Enter your RuneScape display name and Cape Tracker pulls your skill levels, quest completion, and RuneScore from Jagex's public RuneMetrics API — the same data your in-game Hero interface shows. No password or login is ever requested.

Which RuneScape 3 capes can I track?

Max Cape, Master Max Cape, Completionist Cape, Trimmed Completionist Cape, Master Quest Cape, Master Completionist Cape, Master Trimmed Completionist Cape, and Quest Cape — eight capes in one tracker.

Can I use Cape Tracker on more than one device?

Yes. Generate a sync code from the device your progress is on, then open it (or scan the QR code) on the other device to pull the same checklist over — no account required either way.

Can I track more than one RuneScape character?

Yes — add as many characters as you want (a main, an iron, a friend's account) and switch between them from the sidebar. Each one keeps its own saved progress.

Can I install Cape Tracker as an app?

Yes — on both desktop and mobile you can add it to your home screen or desktop for a full-screen, app-like experience. It's still just a website underneath, so there's nothing to download from an app store.
